Brink Books is a new imprint dedicated to publishing writing that lives at the edge: hybrid forms, boundary-breaking voices, and stories that refuse to fit neatly into a box.
Our Kickstarter campaign is complete, and we’ve successfully reached our goal to help bring our first title to life: Malleable and True: A Hybrid Craft Anthology from Brink Literary Journal. The anthology will be not only a celebration of hybrid writing from Brink but an instruction manual of sorts for creating work that is malleable and true. In addition to republishing work from the first ten issues of the journal, we’ll be publishing new work by the contributors that engages with the original in some way to further open it for new insights, along with generative prompts and reflections on hybridity.
